apādāna- / avadhi- attha – definition

ito apanetvā aññaṃ ādadātīti apādānaṃ: that from which something is removed, taken elsewhere, departs

  • apa: having removed (apanetvā)
  • ādāna: takes up (ādadāti)
  • apādāna = avadhi (boundary, limit, limitation)
